Acne is one of the most common problems in the life of adolescents

2. Vitamin D boosts your immune system and can fight against the bacteria which are trying to infect the sebaceous glands.

3. Vitamin D is one of the best natural anti-inflammatory substances. It cools inflammation by reducing the swelling and redness caused by acne.

4. Vitamin D and sunlight both reduces you stress and improves your mood. As you know stress is one of the leading risk factor for Acne. Here it is how Vitamin D can help you with that.

It is important to know that vitamin D enriched diet does not provide enough vitamin D. Therefore, it is important that you let sunlight shine on your skin on mornings. But, in case of seasons which you do not have any chance of getting sunlight then the approved method is taking Vitamin D pills. FDA has recommended daily allowance of vitamin D 400IU. But, 10 minutes in sun gives you more than 10,000 IU. Therefore, if you have a chance of getting a little bit of sunshine do not ignore it.
